Rubhen Emerson is a Partner of Yulius & Partners. His expertise mainly lies in litigation and dispute resolution practice. He paved his career in 2010 when he joined a legal aid institution in Bandung. Prior to joining Yulius & Partners, Rubhen spent more than eleven years as a Senior Lawyer at a prominent law firm in Indonesia. That has allowed him to embrace the complexity of cases and transactions that he handles whilst considering the needs and characteristics of his clients. A seasoned litigator with more than eleven years of experience, Rubhen has comprehensive skills to give extremely well-considered legal advice by involving remarkable levels of risk management. Advising and representing a foreign shipping company in settlement proceedings with the Government of Batam City concerning an incident of the Barge which collided with Galang Bridge, in Batam with a total settlement value of IDR 22,7 Billion and USD 748.437;
Representing a foreign company, made a police report against the director of the securities company in a case of criminal acts of fraud and/or embezzlement with a loss of IDR 120 Billion
Advising and representing a group of politicians as the plaintiffs in the general and administrative courts, in a matter of a political party dispute, including accompanying them in the making of a police report regarding criminal acts of forgery of letters of mandate;
Defending and accompanying the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara at the Central Jakarta District Court, as an accused in a corruption case with a total alleged state loss of IDR 110 Billion;
Defending and accompanying the directors and the shareholders of a company at the Central Jakarta District Court, as the accused in a corruption case with a total alleged state loss of IDR 71,7 Billion;
Defending and accompanying the directors and the shareholders of a securities company at the Central Jakarta District Court, as the accused in a corruption case with a total alleged state loss of IDR 105 Billion;

Representing and defending a foreign shipping company as a defendant against the legal heirs of the deceased victim and the survivor in a lawsuit case at Pati District Court regarding a collision between 2 (two) vessels in Tuban Waters, Java Sea;
